Well if you're reading this you're either bored or curious , so either way I should try to entertain you.

Ok, I really don't know how to tell anyone about myself in a quick succinct way, so if you really want to know, you'll just have to bear with me. So let's start at the beginning (a very good place to start). I was born to a Naval Enlisted man and a housewife in 1974. As a result of my father being in the US Navy, I was born on an Island in Washington State. We moved around a good bit during my first 4 years on this Earth. My only sibling, my sister, was born in 1977 in Virginia. We finally moved to Atlanta, Ga in 1978 (my mom's family is from Georgia and my father's family had moved there from Texas) and so our nomadic lifestyle came to a close. Well at least for my mother, my sister and I it did. Soon after moving there my father left us. With very few exceptions, I never heard from him again. We were quite poor as my mom hadn't held a job in quite a while and found it difficult to acquire one that paid well. She did get a job at Georgia Power and advanced enough in it, to finally move us into a home. We moved to Jonesboro, Ga in 1985 and I lived there until recently.

I never really excelled in school and had no idea what I wanted to be when I grew up. I never really found anything I was good at until I found Mathematics and then Computers. I had always thought both of these subjects to be very boring and had never even thought about pursuing them. I found I was quite gifted (and modest) in these 2 areas, and though I was far behind in both of these fields to other people, I knew I could quickly catch up.

I met my wife when I was 14 and fell in love with her almost immediately. It took her a good bit longer to come around to me (I am a geek remember). We got married at 19, and though that was very young to take that step, it was about the only thing in life I was sure about at that point. We now have 2 children and are still quite happy together.

Right after I got married, I worked at a printing company called Star Packaging. I worked there for 8 years. Most of my time there, I still didn't know what I wanted to do with my life, except to be with my wife (kids were more recent). It wasn't until 3 years ago that I discovered I was good at computers, and at that point I set out to have a career in them. I am now a system administrator at a major web hosting company called National-Net. I am doing quite well there and I am happy there as well. The pay could be better, but I am doing what I love in a really good atmosphere.

That's of course not who I am, just a touch of my past. If you want to get to know me, I would suggest you email me or come to a 2600 meeting in Atlanta.

So I hope I satiated your curiosity. I doubt I did a thing to help your boredom... :)
